Beware of Coconuts

Coconuts kill one hundred fifty people per year
If one falls you don’t want to be near
The word coco means head or skull
Hard and round like a bowling ball

Growing on trees high in the air (in the air)

Coconuts are full of weird, white water
Some people drink it, others say why bother
Coconuts are a nut, seed and fruit
Really they are a fibrous one-seeded drupe

Growing on trees high in the air (in the air)

After some time
They’ll turn to slime
They’ll get all rotten
And be forgotten

Coconuts were used in World War II
Grenades put in them and shrapnel too
The husk can be used to make all kinds of stuff
Like furniture, matts and ropes that are rough
